Private hobby project

KloKompass is a private, non-commercial hobby project by Markus Gola. There is no company behind it and no business is carried on – so there is no commercial register entry and no VAT identification number. The app and the website are free of charge and contain no advertising. Where these texts say “we”, Markus Gola is meant.

Liability for content

We are responsible for our own content on these pages and in the app under general law. However, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. As soon as we become aware of a specific infringement, we remove the content concerned without delay.

User contributions

Toilets, reviews, comments and photos in the app come from users. They are checked before publication but reflect the view of the person who submitted them. If you notice unlawful content, please report it through the reporting function in the app or to golamarkus@googlemail.com. We review every report and remove unlawful content immediately.

Our offering contains links to external websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider is always responsible for that content. No infringements were apparent at the time of linking.

Content and works created by us on these pages are subject to German copyright law.

Toilet data comes from OpenStreetMap: © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Maps, addresses, routes and traffic data come from Apple Maps.

Where OpenStreetMap does not know a toilet yet, we add it from open datasets published by cities and projects. We have merged these data, converted them to a common format and shortened them; toilets already in OpenStreetMap were not added twice. The app names the source for each of these toilets.

Privacy

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
